Why business models need to evolve?
Obama annoyed a few people recently with this comments that the Travel industry was dead and needed to evolve. Outrage and fury erupted, which I took as a cry from dead men walking!

His quote:

“One of the challenges in terms of rebuilding our economy is businesses have gotten so efficient that—when was the last time somebody went to a bank teller instead of using the ATM, or used a travel agent instead of just going online? A lot of jobs that used to be out there requiring people now have become automated”
lead to all sorts of mayhem.

Well sorry guys. That’s the way the world is running, and why don’t you spend the effort spent disputing the comment to sort out the fundamentals of your business. The travel industry may be a big employer, but not for long!
